Henderson Medical Centre
The Henderson Medical Centre is one of the largest and most progressive in West Auckland. Its rapid growth since 2001 meant that the six doctors soon outgrew the existing building and an extension was completed in August 2009.
Systems
Six 2.5kw Daikin high wall inverter units were installed throughout the lower ground level while in the recovery room a single 5kw Daikin high wall inverter was suitable for the requirement. On the first floor, 2.5kw Daikin high wall inverters were installed in the kitchen, meeting room, nurse/consult room and computer server room. The centre's meeting room was fitted with a 3.5kw Daikin high wall inverter.
The project
The new medical centre wing features five consultation rooms plus a state-of-the-art minor surgical suite including two theatres, a three bed recovery area and a brand new sterilisation facility.
Airpro Airconditioning's strong reputation was known to the project manager of the extension and the company was able to successfully negotiate the installation of the 12 heat pumps required for the new area.
