Sovereign House

Sovereign House is a seven-level environmentally friendly building boasting an inspirational and sustainable design. It features a five-storey glass atrium, glass lifts, and open stairwells. Materials throughout are a complementary combination of concrete, plywood, steel and glass.

The project

Unique to this project are the exposed multi service chilled beams, which were designed specifically for the building, and house the air conditioning along with lighting, power and IT cabling.

All open plan areas are air conditioned with large, exposed ductwork.

This is the largest project of its type undertaken in New Zealand. It has become an industry benchmark for chilled beam installations.
