Air New Zealand House

Air New Zealand House is a five level office building located on a prominent intersection in Auckland's CBD. The building is highly visible for the thousands of commuters travelling across the Victoria Park Viaduct

Systems

Roof mounted chillers and air handling units provide conditioned air via ductwork throughout the building to VAV boxes with electric heating coils to meet individual zone requirements.

The project

Airpro was awarded this project at the concept stage on a guaranteed maximum price basis and worked with the design team to develop the final concept.

Airpro added value to the process due to experience in cost planning, which proved invaluable in ensuring design decisions were made with the full understanding of cost implications when there was still time to change tack if the budget was in jeopardy.
