Vodafone Head Office

The Vodafone head office is a high profile, curved glass encased six level office building positioned on a prominent Auckland CBD intersection.

Airpro worked closely with the developer and consultants from original concept through the developed design phase and completed the installation of the air-conditioning for Vodafone's prestigious Auckland headquarters in April 2005.

A Variable Air Volume (VAV) system was selected. Two hundred and twenty five VAV boxes with hot water reheat coils were installed to meet zoning requirements on the six occupied levels. Almost the entire roof was utilised in accommodating the air-conditioning plant, pipework and ductwork.

The biggest challenge was assembling the entire roof plant and ductwork in a short time frame especially given the large size of the equipment and ducting.
